Memories on The Coast

We visited a lighthouse and Jayden walked all the way up the stairs to the top and looked out.
Grandpa and the tide pools with Jayden

Bosoton met Aunt Annie and Aunt Lisa!

Andrew and Jayden dig in the sand.
Kelsi was cold and wet after falling in the water, Grandpa carried her back to the car, Her legs wrapped up in Erics hoodie.

Oregon Fun

Another Graduation! Emily Graduated, and we were excited to go and support her! Congrats Emily! We made it to the beach also. Jayden and Kelsi had a ball looking for treasures. We made it out there at low tide and found a whole bunch of star fish that were just beached on the sand. It was neat and Jayden helped them back into the water. Jayden and Grandpa also found a sand dollar!
What treasures. Kelsi found water to splash in and got carried away and in her ususal clumsiness fell and got all wet. She was upset for a moment, then off splashing again. Jayden was a great treasure hunter, lots of muscle shells, and some crab shells. Boston fell asleep in the backpack and was a pleasent little guy like he ususally is. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for a great time!

Jayden's Fish

We took the girls fishing at a little pond that we discovered 5 min from our house on Jeremy's Birthday. Jayden caught her first fish!! She was so excited, so was mom and dad. Jeremy was helping cast out Kelsi's, when he said to Jayden, " Jayden your bobber is going down, reel it in!" She started to, and then told dad that her pole was shaky, and wanted dad to help. Meanwhile I was freaking out. "JAYDEN YOU CAUGHT A FISH!" I kept saying. She was not willing to touch it though. Normally Jeremy is a catch and release kind of guy, but we had to keep it since it was her first. so we brought it home and she had her first Biology lesson as she watched Jeremy gut out the fish and explain what he was doing. It was too gross for mom, but I listend from a distance. As Jayden would say, "What is that, and GROSS." We had a really fun time.
Jayden made Dad a Star wars Birthday cake. She used her star wars figures to decorate, and had a fun time placing them so carefully. It was a good day.
Later on in the weekend, we were trying to finish our garage, and Kelsi decided to climb into the cabinet Dad was assembling and hide in it. She is our silly girl.
