American Idol...and Tagged Again

Ok... So I watched American Idol from the beggining of the season this year, a first for me, and Adrienne and Marty are American Idol fans too, so while Jeremy was gone on a work trip (I wasn't able to contact him at the time of purchase) Adri and I decided to join the crazed fans of David Archuletta and get tickets to American Idol when it came to "town". Jeremy was my cute husband to support his wife in this adventure and sit two rows down from the suites that were filled with crazed tweens screeming for David Archuletta, but we had a BLAST! It was my first big concert in an arena.... so I had to get my self a piece of memoriblia (aka adri and I in matching shirts)....I loved it. The music was awsome and you could not hear yourself scream when David Archuletta came out! Adri and I as the concert is starting...
I know you can't see him, but this is my favorite one, DAVID COOK! He was great and I obviously was more than excited to get a picture with him!
Ok, I know it is kinda funny, but "ROCK ON" Jer and Marty in their button up shirts!
Yes, I know the picture is blurry, but I couldn't not post a picture of home town hero, David Archuletta singing "Apologize" YEAAAA!

So that was my American Idol adventure! I would do it again in a heartbeat, it was great.... here is the rest of the story, which needs to be told, because I have to give credit where credit and thanks it due....
Meawhile back at home, Grandma and Grandpa were at home with the kids, I couldn't resist "checking in" during intermission..... Jeremy went out in the hall to call and check on the kids, when he came back, he handed me the phone and said, "Kelsi has thrown up 6 times in the last hour." So of course we call and check and for whatever reason, Kelsi gets the flu at the most inopportune time. Bless G & G is all I can say, they of course encourage us to stay and finish the concert while they deal with the throw up... It truely was a night off for me. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

picture tag...your it!

Ok Steph, here it is...
1. Shoes. my favorite flip flops at the moment... 2. Toilet...yes I did cheat on this one and flush, Kelsi is still working on that one!
3. Family Room....I didn't pick it up, jer and the girls did so this one was fair...
4. Kitchen sink... a few dishes left to do, but the dishwasher is going so, they will have to wait..
5. Laundry Room, if you can call it that, It is really the black hole of the house, I don't know how many socks have gotten sucked into a dark abiss down here, never to be found....6. Children. Kelsi organized her favorite shoes on the stairs, and Jayden is enjoying a popsicle from the ice cream truck that just went by...Lucky dad was home to talk him into it...
7. The Fridge.... maybe this will get me to clean it out....maybe tommarow....

2. The Closet. self explanitory, very bottom of the priority list, but at least things are hung and folded and thanks to my sweet husband and his handyness, organized...

3. Self portrait... end of the day at the park, after errands and freckled by the sun...

Ok... now it's your turn: I believe the rules are you have to do it right away and you can't change or clean anything... Your are it: Tiff, Holly, Amy T., Erica, Thereasa, Angie, Karen (even though I know better), and Julie (who needs to get a blog going, so get going!) Steph, I hope you are proud!

Understanding Kelsi....

An explanation.... After posting "Kelsi our little Comic" last week, I was asked, " So does she say funny things or like to make jokes?" So I decided to illustrate my point about my reference to Kelsi being a comic. The very next day after this question was asked, I asked Kelsi to go and get dressed for the day, and she was very obedient and did just that. In a clean pj top, with her favorite hand-me down nude dance tights (which have a hole in them where she covered it up with the socks), and layered the ever so lovely Hello Kitty socks, and if you look closely you would think she at least has the same two shoes on, but one is Jaydens two sizes to big and the other is hers which she can barley squeeze into now. The following day, she dug the tights out of the pile of clothes on the floor from her emptying out her drawer looking for the nude tights, and found Jayden's winter boots to wear out to play in the middle of July with a tank top..... To take it another step further, Monday night, she came downstairs and said, "Mom look at my new diaper." and pulled the waistband of her pants down to reveal what I thought was 6 pair of under ware. we all got a good laugh and loaded in the car to go to Jeremy's parents house, and while there, I decided to count how many she actually did have...9 pairs of under ware on. So we got a good laugh and she thought she was funny, which it kinda was until I was at Seven 11 on the way home getting gas and she has to go potty. A two year old and 9 Pairs of under ware later barely made it on the toilet. So the next day when she tried to do it again this time I counted 14 pairs, I made her take them all off but one. (It had been laundry day the day before and they were all clean and in the drawer.) Well, I hope this straightens things out, for those that don't have the privilege of being around my sweet 2 year old to experience this little comics humor on a daily basis..... :)

She loves her little Mermaide towel...thanks Aunt Lisa and Uncle Nick!

Summer Fun!

We had so much fun with Andrew here! Swimming at the pool was great. Kelsi is learning her boundries with the water and Jayden is a great little swimmer. She has now moved up to level 2 and is excited about it! We are loving having friends over and enjoying this next few weeks of summer, Jayden starts kindergarten at the end of the month! Boston is army crawling! he will get just about anywhere on a flat surface now....Nothing is safe and the girls are learning this including their snacks left on the floor, wrappers they "accidently" leave down, magazines left down, and he has gotten pictures and crumpled them too. He is so pleased with himself, I am hoping he will just be content with the army crawling and not move on to regular crawling too soon, I can still turn my back on him for a few seconds and his is reasonably close to where I left him, but my days are numbered...

We had a great fourth of July. We have the parade in Riverton on the 3rd of July in the evening, alway lots of fun and they still throw candy at this one and the girls were all over that. One of the entries has these monster Jeeps that drive on each others tires. Kelsi loved all the Horses and both of the girls liked "the Princesses", each of the local community Royalties. We were lucky enough to bring Andrew home with us in June and have him stay with us for a month. Andy helped them get the candy and then on the fourth we went to the local carnival and enjoyed the little rides there. Winding our day up in our yard doing fireworks. Kelsi was freaked out by them and Jayden and Boston watched this year. So fun. We will miss Andrew, it has taken Kelsi about 4 days to stop asking if she can go wake up Andrew and where he is. Then when I remind her he went back to grandma's, she says, " I want to go too." Boston is also having Andrew withdrawls, he is a sad little guy because Andy never let him cry, he would always pick him up or give a new toy to him or get his pacifier for him. So now that we are back to 3:1 ratio during the day, they all have to take their turn waiting for me to get around to all of them....I guess that is why Boston all of a sudden figured out how to Army crawl- he got tired of waiting for mom:)
