Going Private

Hi, I am taking Our Team and going Private....Please let me know if you want to keep reading and let me know your email. I am moderating comments for your privacy! I will go private starting in January. Happy Holidays!

The Polar Express

We went up to ride the Polar Express with all of Jeremy's family and it started out with great excitement...then Kelsi tripped. Jayden and Boston had fun, while Jeremy and I took our sweet little Kelsi to the hospital to get stitches. She just tripped crossing the isle and hit her head on the end of the seat, but it was hard enough to split the edge of her eye open. Well, we got her all patched up and went back to the hotel and still had a great time and made some fun memories!
All the Cousins! Such a fun memory!
If Kelsi looks out of it, it is because she is...

Her two little stitches...

The hole..

It was Fun for a little while!
We are soo Excited...
We did make it onto the Train...This was about two minutes before she tripped!

This is our family memory of the Polar Express...I am sure we will try again!

Boston's First Birthday!

Well, Boston turned one! It was pretty mellow as far as birthdays go. Boston had the flu, but I did get a couple smiles out of him! We cancelled the party after he threw up after nap time. The kids and Jeremy and I sang to him, but the poor guy didn't want much to do with his cake. But a big thank-you to Amy for making such an adorable cake! The girls and I enjoyed it!
Aside from the birthday being no fun for Boston, he is such a sweet little boy and I am so glad to have him! We love you Boston!

Halloween Fun!

We have had a lot of halloween fun this last week, four Halloween parties! Yes, four! So, to showcase all the fun, here are the pics in two slide shows. Thanks to Aunt Sherrie for all her hard work and yummy soup! Julie you know how to put on a party! The girls went to a neighbor's friend party, and we had the college crew up for some fun! For those that are wondering...Ashoka is Anakin Skywalker's "Padowan"...ie (Jayden is the girl Jedi)...Jayden has asked Dad to be Darth Vader for a couple of years, so we finally broke down and did it... We couldn't talk Kelsi into joining The Star Wars fan club, so she is our little mermaid in the mix. What a cute one too! And finally, Boston...it fits doesn't it?! I can't stop laughing myself. I know I look just like her, but it really is me dressed up as Leah! So...I hope you all have a great week and Happy Halloween!

My little Snuggler

Boston loves to snuggle in the laundry....so I caught the moment. BTW, if you can, check out his two little teeth! I love this little guy!

awww.... so sweet!

Watching the Garden Grow

We grew a garden this year....tried at least, but we did harvest the tomatoes, and pumpkins! We did get some Zuccini through the summer...so not too bad. Next year I am going to do potatoes though, I love garden fresh potatoes... it's the Idaho in me! But here we are harvesting some of our fruits! Jayden showing how many tomatoes we picked!
Some of our Pumpkins! These all came from one plant!
Picking Pumkins out of our Patch!

"Wee Witches Night Out"

So, the kids and I decided to go and check out the witches at Gardener's Village... and it was so fun! We showed up and it happened to be Wee Witches Night Out, and it was crowded! Had I known, we would have been dressed up because we were out of place in our regular clothes! Everyone was dressed up and their kids too... But even without costumes, we had a blast.. Next year we are going in costumes!
This one was our favorite, she hula huped! Kelsi was a little unsure of takeing her eyes off her that close....

Kelsi running in true form....picking her nose while I take a picture, it was dark so I couldn't see her doing this, but it looks like Boston was too, so I guess I will post this and laugh... fun times

Kelsi turns 3!

This is my big three year old! She loves horses, dolphins, dora, diego, shirts with dohnuts, ice cream, cupcakes, or anything else with her favorites on them...She sings Book of Mormon stories with the actions (I am trying to catch it on video)...loves her school...likes to do puzzels, play with her friends and was cavity free at three! She and Boston are little buddies, they like to chase after each other. She brings a smile to my face everyday!
Kelsi turns three! Thanks to Aunt Julie for a fun Dora and Diego cake! Aunt Susie came!(notice the rather large plastic dohnut sitting next to Kelsi...) Aunt mary found the perfect gift at her local grocery store for our little dohnut lover...in the dog toy section!
She had her first friend party... we went to build a bear! Thanks for coming friends!
The morning of her birthday!

She loves her Dora dollhouse!
And to go with the squeeky dohnut, a dolphin balloon... If you know Kelsi, these are her favorite things...Dax, griff and crew celebrated with us too!

Lucky for us...Emily was here too!

Kelsi we love you and are so glad you are in our family! Go Kelsi Go!

Just a Little Update!

I know that the pictures are the funnest part of a blog, but I am so far behind on blogging, that I am just doing an update for now and and will do more later...

In the last 7 weeks, we have had company four of them, and loved it! But that is part of the reason I haven't been blogging as much. Throw in a few sick kids, Boston teething, Jeremy hunting twice (still no luck yet.. maybe this weekend), me sick with the flu this weekend, and oh yea... I canned some salsa and tomatoes(not by myself, but with help). So my fellow bloggers, I apologize for the lack of content. However, life here is really quite well. Other that the pile of laundry I am having to dig myself out of after this last week and a half.......Possibly the worst mess I have ever had to clean up after a sick kid and I will leave it at that. I am enjoying my new schedule of carpooling my girls to their various activites, playdates and kindergarten.... thanks to my da-da da-da da-da super mom minivan! oh yea.... the minivan is definatley my weapon of choice in this battle of getting kids here and their and all their friends too. (Ask Annie she spent one of her vacation days riding around with me doing all my running around!) Here is the run down....
Jayden: LOVES Kindergarten, her teacher and is reading... It is amazing to watch her grow leaps and bounds every week... Is in dance and loves to play with her friends...I got her first note to me last week, that put me to tears, as she is learning to write too, it said "Momyouarethebesdmomihad". It still makes me cry... it is on the fridge...
Kelsi: turned 3! and LOVES her Tiny Tots! her little school. I can get her dressed so fast on her school days, she even gets her own coat and shoes on and now does her own buckles in her car seat! Yea! She loves to sing and in her still developing speech her songs are soo cute! Tonight she was ryming, I said "One two buckle my shoe" and she repeated back " One two buckle my carseat" then laughed.... ah Kelsi...
Boston: ok... seriously all my friends that have boys I know what you are going to say... You warned me... but this about sums it up, a quote I got from my friend, "Boy; n. a Noise with dirt on it." Boston is a force to be reckoned with, Jeremy and I decided if he is awake you are running ahead of him to keep him out of something, or running after him to take something away from him. He is above the 95th percentile in his height, 75th on weight and has two teeth, getting two more. He hates to be left out of anything. The girls are always frustrated because he wants to "play" (destroy) with what ever they are and I can't even think about leaving him alone...big alligater tears and remember the quote... and noise with dirt on it... well you get the picture. But he is sooo cute and loves to dance and play with you.
Well.... I will try to get some pics up, but this is all for now! ttfn

Aloha!

Ok, so it has been a while since my last post, but I am really still mentally in Maui! We loved it! It was the best! (Thanks to all those at home that made it possible!) Here are some highlights! You may be able to tell who is the better photographer between Jeremy and I, you can actually see me, and Jeremy is usually a dot in the water. I was having a hard time not getting knocked down in the water, so I will point him out....first though, this is me "Catching a Wave"! I really was trying to smile for the camera, but as you can tell I was slightly panicked! so fun though, and of course my althletic husband picked it right up and was awesome. I did it and enjoyed it, but I would turn in before him and lay on the beach and watch him wait for the best waves! When we weren't "Spongeing" we were snorkling.... ahhhh Napili beach! Amazing! We took our little book everywhere with us and found the beaches they recomended for snorkling and such and we were not let down... Such an amazing time...
I know it is hilarious, but you got to admit it looks fun!
I said I would point Jeremy out and so here he is... boogie boarding!

Here he is again.... still boogie boarding....
So, this was a monumetous trip, not only because we celebrated our 10 years together, but I crossed off one of my 50 things to do before I die list.... Swim with the sea turtles! Yes I really do have a list ( thanks to Engilsh 101 in college)! And this is me and the sea turtle that I swam with..... it seriously was only 1 yard away!
I am still in awe, here is another picture of the turtle... There were 8 we saw and swam with!

I love my Jeremy and we had an amazing trip!

ahhh. sums it up pretty well, but it doesn't really give anyone much to read
We did bike down a volcano! We got up at 2:30 am and watched the sun rise 9,800 ft up, then got on a bike and downhilled 26 miles going 15-20 miles an hour! I know Spencer and Steph, this is no tour de France, but considering I am usually riding around with a 5 year old and a bike trailer on my bike, it was quite the adventure! It started raining the last 10 miles or so, and we had already taken off our rain gear and didn't stop to put it back on and it was like I was a little girl riding through mud puddles! It was a blast!
We stopped part way and posed for a picture!
All wet and tired! But we just went back to the hotel and took a nap, then spent the rest of the day laying on the beach.... rough, now you know why I said that I was still in Maui... mentally.
