Ok, so after years of begging for a pet, Jayden is the proud owner of Picachu...The RAT. First of all, for those that are not into Japanese cartoons, Picachu is a Pokemon who is a yellow mouse. Jayden's latest craze is Pokemon anything, so when thinking of a name for her cute little pet, Picachu was chosen... (it was either that or Scabbers...) We thought long (a lot of years) and hard about this new responsibility and she is sooo excited! We will have many more adventurous posts about this new little "family" member. Already, Jayden says, "come to mommy!" And I heard Kelsi say, "Come to Aunt Kelsi". Then Jayden told me that I was Grandma, and Dad was Grandpa....I asked if I could be Aunt Kathi instead, that I wasn't ready to be a grandma....She obliged.

Christmas Dance Recital 2009
I am taking a moment to brag about my little darlings....They are not only BEAUTIFUL, but they were the best dancers on the stage ! Kelsi remembered her entire dance, and even held her pose at the end until the backstage helper came and took her hand to go off stage! Jayden is on a mini competition team this year and she had to move and change stage positions while dancing. It was so great to see all their learning and growing they have been doing this year! Thanks to all who came and watched! We are so lucky to have so much support!

Gasp! A New Post!
Jeremy's first Deer! He finally got one, a two point, but to his credit his first one is as big as my biggest ever was! Way to go Jer! Boston loved the head the two days it was in the garage, he would go stand by the door to the garage and say "MOO! MOO!" and want to go and pet it...Needless to say it was only kept around for a couple of days...
Ok, we have been MIA, but I am going to do a little update. Jayden has started 1st grade in July, and Kelsi started Preschool in September. Dance started up in September as well for the girls and they love it. We started our shed in September as well, it is still being finished, but hopefully a couple more weeks and it will be usable...For those that don't know, my brother Eric moved in with us and is working here, getting ready for a mission. So, he has been a lot of help finishing the shed. We took a short trip to Oregon in August to visit the family, it was a lot of fun, I need to post of few of those pics too....but for now here are a couple of the most recent pics of us... Wheeler Farm, the kids were feeding the chickens...Always fun..
We went for a hike up the canyons with Susan (not pictured). Gathered Leaves, (Grandma they made books for you to look at when you come next.) and took a little lunch we had a ball, despite what Boston looks like, he was just mad we stopped to take a picture.
Halloween 2009, Hermonie, a Dinosaur, and a Horse....So Cute!
Sooo, here is the story behind the pumpkin....Jeremy commissioned Susan into doing a "Suprise" for me. When we had our pumpkin carving activity, Jeremy got online and found a pattern and asked Susan if she would carve this and suprise me....Apparently I must be a Twilight Fan, and a Team Jacob fan (hahahaha maybe a little). However, I was suprised and I loved it! Thanks to Jeremy and Susan for my Pumpkin!!!

Spring Dance Recital 2009
Tour De Riverton!
At the End!
At the start! over 150 riders!
Yea! we finished!
OK! Here it is proof that I participated in an organized sporting event! Really though, we finished the course in 1 hr 53 min. It was a 25 mile RIDE. Not a race (yes, I am bummed that I didn't have an official number, but I did get a t-shirt!) but it was sooo fun and a great memory! We rode it with our good friends Adri and Marty! I even kept up with Jeremy! Thanks to Grandma Nancy who came and helped with the kids so we could do it!

Eric Graduates!
I know, I know a current blog entry! We made the drive again, and this time was a little wierd for me, so I am posting this thinking of my "Little" Brother and realizing that he has grown into my "Big" little brother. I was so happy we could go and support him on his big day! Congrats Eric! The "little kids" are all grown up!!! Andy and I- can you believe he is alomost 13?? A teenager, wierd. But he is an awsome uncle and he is very quickly going to be my big little brother also. Stop growing Andrew!
Shelley and I...Love ya Shel! She had a "Sleepover" with Jayden and painted toes and watched a movie! So fun!

Random Happenings
Life Around Here
It has been absolutly BUSY here. What with, you know I really can't pinpoint it. I have noticed my blogging dropped off about the time Boston started walking. So that is my reason. For those that don't get to be around my little guy all the time....He loves the toilet, here is a list of items I have found and had to retireve, Diego helecopter, Pacifiers, bath toys, and lots of TP. He can open the doors, climb on the table, couch and chairs. I have also found that most of my silverware is dissapearing, come to find out he can reach into the drawer and he places it in a small gap between the dishwasher and counter (visible to only those that are 2 ft. tall...). I LOVE when the weather is decent, he can explore out in the backyard all he wants. Unfortunatley, the yo-yo weather here makes it really hard for him to have to stay indoors on the cold, snowy, wet days. On those days, he will stand at the back door and cry... a lot like a dog. Aside from all the trouble he can find, he has picked up a new hobby, Basketball. You think I a crazy, but the kid will point out a hoop and ball anywhere. We have a small hoop that he will play with non stop. All this shooting hoops has developed quite the arm for him. He now throws whatever he can, whenever he can....restaruants beware. He threw his cup across the table last week (sorry Erica). So, back to my point of I have been busy, I often look back at the day, and go what did I do??? Anyway, The picture is so cute I thought it would go well with the post...I was changing the laundry and the phone rang. I ran upstairs to answer it and when I got back down, Boston had climbed into the dryer and was sitting on the wet laundry...

Snowmobiling Memories!
Spencer- this one is for you! Boston's boots wouldn't stay on, so we taped them on! :)
We took a little winter get away to Island Park with Stacy and Dave and their two girls. It was so fun and cold! But we did make it to Big Springs to see the fish and had lots of fun sledding, and snowmobileing! Good Times!
That time of year...
Ok, so it should be assumed that when I have long lapses in my blogging, that I have sick children....We have had colds (everyone), ear infections (Boston and Kelsi- her tubes are out), RSV (Boston), and Hand Foot and Mouth (Boston and Kelsi). But, we are now getting well. I am a little on the crazy side from all the germs, but I guess it is just what happens with little ones. So, I will attempt to update with some pics!

Sofie came to visit!
We had a ball with cousin Sofie! She had to travel from Oklahoma to Oregon to Idaho to get to us in Utah! We were thrilled to have Steph and Spencer spend a day and a half with us! Mary met up with us at the Dinosaur museum and after naps we braved the cold and went sledding! Jayden hitched a ride up the hill with Steph and Jayden and sofie raced down together (Kelsi was on the ski's trying to downhill on crosscountry ski's)! And a fun filled visit wouldn't be complete without a trip to the instacare with Kelsi! Yep, not even a month after her stitches by her eye, she and Sofie were practicing their "Kung Foo" when she smacked her head into the corner of a table right at bed time and we took her to instacare. Three staples later, we made it back home! Crazy I know. But regaurdless- we had a fun weekend! Oh ya- a shout out to the Utes! Only because Jeremy and Spencer broke in the new TV and watched the Utes win the Sugar bowl! What a weekend!
